Péter Eötvös (* 2. January 1944 in Odorheiu Secuiesc; † 24. March 2024 in Budapest) was a hungarian composer and conductor. He was 80 years old. His education included Franz Liszt Academy of Music and Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He received 7 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Kossuth Prize.
