Biography of Peter Maxwell Davies

Peter Maxwell Davies (* 8. September 1934 in Salford; † 14. March 2016 in Sanday) was an english composer and conductor. He was 81 years old. His education included University of Manchester, Royal Manchester College of Music, Moorside High School and Princeton University. He received 4 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Royal Philharmonic Society Gold Medal. His cause of death was leukemia.
