Biography of Petro Schelest

Petro Schelest (* 1. February 1908 in Andriivka, Balakliia Raion; † 22. January 1996 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer und ukrainischer Politiker. He was 87 years old. He was married to Iraida Pavlovna Šelest. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at State Higher Education Institution “Pryazovskyi State Technical University”. He received 7 awards, including Order of Lenin, Hero of Socialist Labour. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
