Biography of Pierre Grappin

Pierre Grappin (* 31. May 1915 in Coussey; † 14. June 1997 in Paris) was a french diplomat and Germanist. He was 82 years old. He studied at École Normale Supérieure. He worked at Paris Nanterre University, Paul Verlaine University – Metz, National Center for Scientific Research, University of Paris, Université de Nancy, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and Agence France-Presse. He received 5 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms.
