Biography of Pierre Maranda

Pierre Maranda (* 1. January 1930 in Quebec City; † 5. July 2015 in Saint-Nicolas) was a kanadischer Anthropologe. He was 85 years old. He was married to Elli Köngäs-Maranda. His education included Harvard University, Université de Montréal and Laval University. He worked at University of British Columbia and Laval University. His awards include Molson Prize and Member of the Order of Canada.
