Richard Lee Armstrong (* 4. August 1937 in Seattle; † 9. August 1991 in Vancouver) was a kanadischer Hochschullehrer und Geologe. He was 54 years old. He studied at Yale University. He worked at University of British Columbia, California Institute of Technology and Yale University. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Logan Medal and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. His cause of death was liver cancer.
