Richard Norton (* 9. February 1872 in Dresden; † 2. August 1918 in Paris) was an archeologist; founder and head of the American Volunteer Motor Ambulance Corps (Norton-Harjes Ambulance Corps). He was 46 years old. His education included Buckingham Browne & Nichols School and Harvard University. His awards include Croix de guerre 1914–1918, Legion of Honour and Order of Saint Lazarus. His cause of death was meningitis.
