Biography of Richard Pankhurst

Richard Pankhurst (* 3. December 1927 in Woodford Green; † 16. February 2017 in Addis Ababa) was a britischer Historiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 89 years old. He was married to Rita Pankhurst. His education included London School of Economics and Political Science and Bancrofts School. He worked at Addis Ababa University, SOAS, University of London, London School of Economics and Political Science and Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire. He was buried at Holy Trinity Cathedral.
