Biography of Robert Brown

Robert Brown (* 21. December 1773 in Montrose; † 10. June 1858 in London) was a schottischer Botaniker. He was 84 years old. His education included Universidad Estatal de Sonora, University of Aberdeen, University of Aberdeen School of Medicine, Montrose Academy and Marischal College. He worked at British Museum. He received 5 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Copley Medal. He was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery.
