Biography of Robert Maynard Hutchins

Robert Maynard Hutchins (* 17. January 1899 in Brooklyn; † 15. May 1977 in Santa Barbara) was an uS-amerikanischer Bildungstheoretiker. He was 78 years old. He was married to Maude Hutchins. His education included Yale University, Oberlin College, Oberlin Academy and Oberlin High School. He worked at University of Chicago and Yale Law School. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Goethe Plaque of the City of Frankfurt. He was buried at Santa Barbara Cemetery.
