Biography of Robert Simpson Woodward

Robert Simpson Woodward (* 21. July 1849 in Rochester; † 29. June 1924 in Washington, D.C.) was an uS-amerikanischer Astronom, Geophysiker, Geodät und Ingenieur. He was 74 years old. He studied at University of Michigan. He worked at United States Geological Survey, National Geodetic Survey, Columbia University and Carnegie Institution for Science. He was buried at Rock Creek Cemetery.
