Biography of Ruben I. Awanesow

Ruben I. Awanesow (* 1. February 1902 in Shusha; † 1. May 1982 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Sprachwissenschaftler. He was 80 years old. He was married to Lidija Poljak. His education included Lazarev Institute of Oriental Languages and Faculty of Social Sciences of Moscow State University. He worked at Moscow Dialectical Commission, Moscow Municipal Pedagogical Institute V. P. Potemkin, Moscow Institute of Philosophy, Literature, and History, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Russian Language Institute. His awards include USSR State Prize, Order of the Badge of Honour and Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
