Seamus Heaney (* April 13, 1939 in Castledawson; † August 30, 2013 in Dublin) was an irish poet, playwright, translator, lecturer. He was 74 years old. He was married to Marie Devlin. His education included St Columb's College, Queen's University Belfast and Bates College. His faith was Catholicism. He received 10 awards, including Nobel Prize in Literature, Cholmondeley Award. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at St. Mary's Church.
