Biography of Sergei Nikolajewitsch Kolossow

Sergei Nikolajewitsch Kolossow (* 27. December 1921 in Moscow; † 11. February 2012 in Moscow) was a russian film director and screenwriter. He was 90 years old. He was married to Ljudmila Iwanowna Kassatkina. He studied at Russian Institute of Theatre Arts. He worked at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He received 10 awards, including Zhukov Medal, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945". His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
