Biography of Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar

Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar (* 21. February 1894 in Bhera; † 1. January 1955 in New Delhi) was an indian chemist. He was 60 years old. His education included University College London, D.A.V. College Managing Committee, University of the Punjab, Forman Christian College and Dayal Singh College, Lahore. He worked at Banaras Hindu University and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. His faith was Hinduism. He received 6 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
