Biography of Shelby Foote

Shelby Foote (* 17. November 1916 in Greenville; † 27. June 2005 in Memphis) was an uS-amerikanischer Romancier und Historiker. He was 88 years old. His education included University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina and Greenville High School. He worked at University of Memphis. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Humanities Medal. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Tennessee.
