Biography of Sidney Altman

Sidney Altman (* 7. May 1939 in Montreal; † 5. April 2022 in Rockleigh) was a canadian American molecular biologist. He was 82 years old. He was married to Ann M. Altman. He had 2 children. His education included Columbia University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Colorado Boulder. His faith was Judaism. He received 6 awards, including Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Rosenstiel Award. He was buried at Congregation Mishkan Israel Cemetery.
