Biography of Simion Stoilow

Simion Stoilow (* 14. September 1887 in Bucharest; † 4. April 1961 in Bucharest) was a rumänischer Mathematiker. He was 73 years old. He studied at Science Faculty of Paris. He worked at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, University of Bucharest, Politehnica University of Bucharest and Chernivtsi University. He received 7 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Order of Cultural Merit. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Carol Park Mausoleum, Bucharest.
