Biography of Smithson Tennant

Smithson Tennant (* 30. November 1761 in Selby; † 22. February 1815 in Boulogne-sur-Mer) was an englischer Chemiker. He was 53 years old. His education included University of Edinburgh, Christ's College and Beverley Grammar School. He worked at University of Cambridge. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society and Copley Medal. His cause of death was cancer.
