Biography of Sofja Alexandrowna Janowskaja

Sofja Alexandrowna Janowskaja (* 19. January 1896 in Pružany; † 24. October 1966 in Moscow) was a russische Mathematikhistorikerin. She was 70 years old. Her education included cours féminins supérieurs d'Odessa and Institute of Red Professors. She worked at Red Army, regional committee of the CPSU, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Perm State National Research University. She was awarded the Order of Lenin. Her cause of death was diabetes. She was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
