Stan Brakhage (* January 14, 1933 in Kansas City; † March 9, 2003 in Victoria) was an american filmmaker and writer. He was 70 years old. His education included Dartmouth College, South High School and San Francisco Art Institute. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Maya Deren Award. His cause of death was bladder cancer.
