Biography of Stuart Hampshire

Stuart Hampshire (* 1. October 1914 in Healing; † 13. June 2004 in Oxford) was a britischer Philosoph. He was 89 years old. His education included Balliol College and Repton School. He worked at University College London, Stanford University Philosophy Department and Stanford University. His awards include Fellow of the British Academy, Knight Bachelor and Guggenheim Fellowship.
