Indian-American astrophysicist
Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar (* 19. October 1910 in Lahore; † 21. August 1995 in Chicago) was an indian-American astrophysicist. He was 84 years old. He was married to Lalitha Doraiswamy. His education included Trinity College, Presidency College, University of Cambridge and Hindu Higher Secondary School. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Copley Medal. His cause of death was cardiac arrest.
