Biography of Takeshi Shibata

Takeshi Shibata (* 1. January 1918 in Nagoya; † 1. January 2007) was a japanischer Soziolinguist. He was 89 years old. He studied at University of Tokyo. He worked at University of Tokyo, Saitama University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, 3rd class.
