Biography of Thanu Padmanabhan

Thanu Padmanabhan (* 10. March 1957 in Thiruvananthapuram; † 17. September 2021 in Pune) was an indischer Astrophysiker. He was 64 years old. His education included University College Thiruvananthapuram, University of Kerala and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He worked at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics. He received 5 awards, including Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, G.D. Birla Award for Scientific Research. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
