Biography of Theodor Wilhelm Engelmann

Theodor Wilhelm Engelmann (* 14. November 1843 in Leipzig; † 20. May 1909 in Berlin) was a deutscher Physiologe. He was 65 years old. He was married to Emma Engelmann and Maria Anna Theresia Donders. He had at least 3 children (1 son and 2 daughters). His education included Leipzig University, University of Göttingen, Heidelberg University, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Thomasschule zu Leipzig. He worked at Utrecht University and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His awards include Order of the Red Eagle 2nd Class and Croonian Medal and Lecture.
