Biography of Thomas G. Rosenmeyer

Thomas G. Rosenmeyer (* 3. April 1920 in Hamburg; † 6. February 2007 in Oakland) was a deutsch-amerikanischer Klassischer Philologe. He was 86 years old. His education included McMaster University, University of Toronto, Harvard University, Smith College and Gelehrtenschule des Johanneums. He worked at University of California, Berkeley, University of Washington, University of Iowa and Smith College. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
