Biography of Thomas Wentworth

Thomas Wentworth (* 13. April 1593 in London; † 12. May 1641 in Tower Hill) was a 1. Earl of Strafford, englischer Politiker. He was 48 years old. He was married to Elizabeth Rodes and Lady Arabella Holles. He had at least 3 children (1 son and 2 daughters). He studied at St John's College. His faith was Anglicanism. He was awarded the Knight of the Garter. His cause of death was decapitation. He was buried at Old Holy Trinity Church, Wentworth.
