Biography of Tōjō Hideki

Tōjō Hideki (* 30. December 1884 in Kōjimachi-ku; † 23. December 1948 in Sugamo Prison) was a 40. japanischer Premierminister und General. He was 63 years old. He was married to Katsuko Tōjō. He had at least 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter). His education included Imperial Japanese Army Academy, Army War College, Central Military Preparatory School and Tokyo Military Preparatory School. His faith was Jōdo Shinshū. He received 10 awards, including Order of the Rising Sun, 1st class, Order of the Sacred Treasure. His cause of death was hanging to death. He was buried at Zōshigaya Cemetery.
