Biography of Tony Hoare

Tony Hoare (* 11. January 1934 in Colombo; † 5. March 2026 in Cambridge) was a british computer scientist. He was 92 years old. He was married to Jill Pym. He had 3 children. His education included Lomonosov Moscow State University, Merton College, University of Oxford, Dragon School and The King's School Canterbury. He received 10 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Turing Award.
