Biography of Valentin Esipov (1933-2021)

Valentin Esipov (* 6. November 1933 in Nekouz; † 15. May 2021 in Moscow) was an astronom. He was 87 years old. His education included Lomonosov Moscow State University and MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. He worked at Sternberg Astronomical Institute. His awards include Medal "Veteran of Labour", Medal "In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow" and Medal "For Merit in Space Exploration". He was buried at Khovanskoye Cemetery.
