Biography of Valery Menitsky (1944-2008)

Valery Menitsky (* 8. February 1944 in Moscow; † 15. January 2008 in Moscow) was a soviet test pilot. He was 63 years old. His education included M. M. Raskova Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots in Tambov and Fedotov Test Pilot School. He worked at Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG. He received 4 awards, including Order of Lenin, Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
