Biography of Vivian Hunter Galbraith

Vivian Hunter Galbraith (* 15. December 1889 in Sheffield; † 25. November 1976 in Oxford) was an englischer Historiker, Fellow der British Academy und Oxford Regius Professor für neue Geschichte. He was 86 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included Victoria University of Manchester, Balliol College and Highgate School. He worked at Victoria University of Manchester, Public Record Office, University of Edinburgh, Institute of Historical Research and University of Oxford. His awards include Fellow of the British Academy, Stanhope essay prize and Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
