Walter Cronkite (* 4. November 1916 in St. Joseph; † 17. July 2009 in New York City) was an american broadcast journalist. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Texas at Austin, San Jacinto High School, Moody College of Communication and Ella J. Baker Montessori School. His faith was Episcopal Church. He received 9 awards, including Presidential Medal of Freedom, Great Silver Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
