Walter Joseph Bock (* 20. November 1933 in Woodhaven; † 27. January 2022 in Tenafly) was an uS-amerikanischer Evolutionsbiologe und Ornithologe. He was 88 years old. His education included Cornell University, Harvard University and Brooklyn Technical High School. He worked at University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, Columbia University and Goethe University Frankfurt. He was awarded the Elliott Coues Award.
