Biography of Walter Ledermann

Walter Ledermann (* 18. March 1911 in Berlin; † 22. May 2009 in London) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 98 years old. He was married to Rushi Ledermann. His education included University of St Andrews, Köllnisches Gymnasium, Leibniz-Gymnasium and Frederick William University Berlin. He worked at University of Manchester, University of St Andrews, University of Edinburgh and University of Sussex. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and honorary doctorate.
