William Arthur Lewis (* 23. January 1915 in Castries; † 15. June 1991 in Bridgetown) was a karibischer Nobelpreisträger und Ökonom von der Insel St. Lucia. He was 76 years old. He studied at London School of Economics and Political Science. He worked at Princeton University and Victoria University of Manchester. He received 6 awards, including Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association.
