

British economic historian (1916–2008)
William Woodruff (* 12. September 1916 in Blackburn; † 23. September 2008 in Gainesville) was a british economic historian. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Nottingham, Harvard University, St Catherine's College and Plater College. He worked at University of Florida, University of Melbourne and University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. He was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship.
