Biography of Wladimir Michailowitsch Mjassischtschew

Wladimir Michailowitsch Mjassischtschew (* 28. September 1902 in Yefremov; † 14. October 1978 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Flugzeugkonstrukteur. He was 76 years old. He studied at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He worked at Moscow Aviation Institute, Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute and Myasishchev Design Bureau. He received 10 awards, including Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
