Yoichiro Nambu (* 18. January 1921 in Tokyo; † 5. July 2015 in Toyonaka) was an american theoretical physicist. He was 94 years old. His education included University of Tokyo, Princeton University and Fukui Prefectural Fujishima High School. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Order of Culture. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
