Yuri Sheffer (* 30. June 1947 in Chelyabinsk; † 5. June 2001 in Zhukovsky) was a soviet test-pilot. He was 53 years old. His education included Moscow Aviation Institute, Fedotov Test Pilot School and Kacha Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots. His awards include Order "For Personal Courage", Hero of the Russian Federation and Merited Test Pilot of the USSR. He was buried at Bykovo cemetery.
