Biography of Alan Bates

Alan Bates (* 17. February 1934 in Allestree; † 27. December 2003 in City of Westminster) was an english actor. He was 69 years old. He was married to Victoria Ward. He studied at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He received 4 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer. He was buried at All Saints Churchyard.
