Anthony Barnes Atkinson (* 4. September 1944 in Caerleon; † 1. January 2017 in Oxford) was a british economist. He was 72 years old. His education included University of Cambridge, Cranbrook School and Churchill College. He received 10 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Commander of the Order of the British Empire. His cause of death was bone cancer.
