Biography of Arthur Winfree

Arthur Winfree (* 15. May 1942 in St. Petersburg; † 5. November 2002 in Tucson) was an uS-amerikanischer theoretischer Biologe. He was 60 years old. His education included Princeton University, Cornell University and Cornell University College of Engineering. He worked at University of Arizona, Purdue University and University of Chicago. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program and Norbert Wiener Prize in Applied Mathematics.
