Biography of Beatrice Tinsley

Beatrice Tinsley (* 27. January 1941 in Chester; † 23. March 1981 in New Haven) was a neuseeländische Astronomin und Kosmologin. She was 40 years old. Her education included University of Canterbury, University of Texas at Austin and New Plymouth Girls' High School. She worked at Yale University. Her awards include Annie Jump Cannon Award in Astronomy and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi.
