Aliette Kagan
Benoit Mandelbrot (* 20. November 1924 in Warsaw; † 14. October 2010 in Cambridge) was a polish-born, French and American mathematician. He was 85 years old. He was married to Aliette Kagan. His education included lycée du Parc, École polytechnique, California Institute of Technology and University of Paris. He received 10 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, IBM Fellow. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer. He was buried at Grove Street Cemetery.
