Biography of Charles Thomson Rees Wilson

Charles Thomson Rees Wilson (* 14. February 1869 in Glencorse; † 15. November 1959 in Carlops) was a schottischer Physiker. He was 90 years old. He was married to Jessie Fraser. His education included University of Manchester, University of Cambridge, Sidney Sussex College and Bradford Grammar School. He worked at Cavendish Laboratory and University of Cambridge. He received 10 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Copley Medal. He was buried at Cemetery, St Andrew's Church, Neidpath Road, Peebles.
