Biography of D’Arcy Wentworth Thompson

D’Arcy Wentworth Thompson (* 2. May 1860 in Edinburgh; † 21. June 1948 in St Andrews) was a britischer Mathematiker und Biologe. He was 88 years old. His education included University of Edinburgh, Trinity College and Edinburgh Academy. He worked at University of Dundee and University of St Andrews. He received 7 awards, including Companion of the Order of the Bath, Daniel Giraud Elliot Medal. He was buried at Dean Cemetery.
