David Gill (* 12. June 1843 in Aberdeen; † 24. January 1914 in London) was a britischer Astronom. He was 70 years old. His education included University of Aberdeen, Dollar Academy and Marischal College. He received 7 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order. He was buried at St Machar's Cathedral.
