Biography of Edward Collingwood

Edward Collingwood (* 17. January 1900 in Alnwick; † 25. October 1970 in Alnwick) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 70 years old. His education included University of Paris, Trinity College, University of Cambridge, Royal Naval College, Osborne, Britannia Royal Naval College and Aberystwyth University. He worked at University of Cambridge, Royal Navy, British Admiralty Office, The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Medical Research Council. He received 7 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He was buried at Church of St Maurice, Eglingham.
